o2 Sim dead…

My Nan complained that her phone wasn’t working a few weeks ago and I totally forgot to look at it but just assumed she had let it go flat.

I took a look at it on Friday and it just said emergency calls only. Tried the sim in my old iPhone and sure enough it doesn’t connect to the network.

I try logging in to the o2 app but it wants to send a security text to the number that isn’t working… 🙈

Is there any other way of logging in to o2 that I can try or have I gotta phone them up tomorrow?

It's a standard clause on their legacy payg tariffs and on some of their newer ones. If you get hold of a helpful person they may be able to give you the old number.

My gran use to go through two numbers a year because of this. I ended up just paying a few quid a month for the most basic phone contract to ensure she has a mobile that always works.

I’ll give them a call tomorrow! Okay the sob story of the 95 year old that needs a phone ‘just in case’.
