OBD2 not reading airbag codes

My ebay Bluetooth OBD2 reader doesn't pick up any faults stored in my ECU, yet my airbag light is on? Are airbag codes like ABS code, in that they are hidden away and unreadable without a CLIP?

Cheap stuff won't go near them. Clip or similar is needed.

Although rstuner with select modules shall.

Most cheap code readers just use EOBD, so only engine ecu, and only basic codes, not manufacturer specific.
