Occasional sticking throttle

Where is it most likely to be sticking? !.4 8v 2000 reg btw. Or better to get a new cable?

Only happens maybe once a month but I dont want it to scare the crap out of my gf!

I'd get a new cable mate, it could be freying hence its sticking

Hmmm, mine did a similar thing the other day, well I thought it had but when I hooked my foot under the pedal and pulled it back nothing changed, pushed down and released, still nothing. I then tried braking a bit, that worked. It was more as if the revs were sticking as opposed to the throttle cable. Was weird, nothing too worrying, only stuck around 2.5k in 3rd gear and there was no one in front so that's why I had a little investigation rather than just breaking! It felt funny though, as if I was in a R/C car! Was just going along dead smooth on it's own lol.

Similar but when i give it a good rev it clears itself and the pedal was about halfway down when i took my foot off so i think its sticking somewhere!
