offset question for the wheel people!

hi guys, no matter how hard I try and work it out I cant as im not the best with numbers!!! looking to order a set of wheels for my car. Currently I run 15" wheels ET36 with 6.5" wide wheels. but I also run 30mm spacers!

the wheels im looking at ordering are 7" wide also 15" and available in offsets off 25,35,40 and 45.

can I order an offset to do away with my spacers if so what one and if not what offset do I need to order so my wheels sit the same as my current ones with the spacers as they sit about as far out as id like currently!

cheers

No, ET25 wouldn't achieve what your were wanting really. In a like-for-like wheel, an ET6 would mean you could do away with the 30mm spacer. As you are looking at wheel which is half inch wider then you need to clarify if your aim is to have the outer rim lip at same position relative to the arch or if you want the wheel centreline to remain unchanged. If the former then you would be aiming for ET18 instead of ET6. As neither ET are offered I suggest you just buy the ET40 and use the 30mm spacers.

(I'm assuming inner rim clearance is not an issue, I very much doubt it would be if you're on 30mm spacers)

I'd go with ET25 with 12mm spacers that would be the exact track width.

As above the 12mm per side.
