172 Cup is ET38.5 as standard so I would imagine it'd be ok, dependant on how low and how wide tyres are etc...?

its pretty low, but the tyres round my turinis are 195.... as long as i went no wider it should be ok?

I had 7x17 205/40 ET35 rims on a -40 apex sprung cup and it was no problem at all.
