Offside rear indicator problem

Hi

Recently noticed that my offside rear indicator stops working now and then, bulb is fine but when i pull back the carpet and move the wires it works again (for so long)

Do i need to strip it all out or something? I am guessing a wire has come loose? Is this a common problem?

Most likely corrosion on the bulb holders.

Mine does this on the nearside rear one, take the cluster off, remove bulb holder, sand down the connector that goes into the bulb holders terminal (the metal prongs) and then test it
