Oh, just kerbed my wheel after refurb!

Well, aint it bloody sods law. I just had mey wheels refurbed by Fred after kerbing some of them badly, only had it done about week and a half ago and gone and done it again!! Not as badly as before, just but still bad enough.

Dont you just hate it when things are perfect for a bit then you f**k them up after such a short time :(

same here on my previous clio, dealer refurbed and about a month later did about a 12" scrape on a kerb on full lock coming out of the drive, thought i could do it, but ran out of room.

Gutted for you mate! Gonna get mine refurbed when I can get some cash together and get them sprayed white or black with silver lip, and I just really gotta learn to park without knowing ive parked close enough when ive hit kurb!

It was on the nr/side front.

The thing is, I didnt have to park on the road. There is car park about 5 min walk that cost 40p, but I just couldnt be bothered!!

I was just thinking of getting my door sprayed too as it has a few chips, just to make the car perfect again, but this sort of thing just makes me think why do I bother!

Im off to cry.......

really what you have to do is not try anything, ie if you doubt you can do something dont even attempt it.......but then you always get things you cant help like door dents by assholes

Theres always "it could have been worse eh!

On the plus side youll get a discount from Fred for being a REGULAR customer eh :D

what annoys me, is i had a set of 17s on when i first got my car, didnt damage them once, then had to change them due to insurance saying they was too big.

had a set of 15s on for about 7months didnt put a single scrape on them. admiral have said i can put my 17s back on, and since i have, ive kerbed them 3times. once badly and other times hardly anything :(

I will, will prob leave it till next month now just to make sure I dont do it again!

Just another quickie, when I have it done (and I will as it will really p*** me off), is it possible for you to spray the center caps the same colour? They are nearly the same colour, but you can tell the differnce if you look hard. I have seen a couple of wheels refubed on here in a differnct colour, and they have managed to get the caps done the same colour?

I try and find an example.

Thats why I dont bother refurbing, for the price you pay compared to the chances of re kerbing it aint worth it!
