Put it this way: If you owned a classic Dino Ferrari, would you refer to it as simply a Dino, or a Ferrari?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Dino was made by Enzo Ferrari, and named after his late son, but never badged as a 'Ferrari'. It was simply a Dino.

It was indeed simply badged as a Dino, but generally it's accepted as being a Ferarri.
