cmon now lads its only an mk1 clio, its not an elise or whatever is it.

Don't worry, my first 'it's not rat look' thread has many posts of me consistently explaining that my tongue was glued to my cheek when i was doing it, but people still went on that it looked s**t and I seriously thought it looked good lol.

It's either that people take things too seriously when it comes to cars, they've lost their sense of humour radar, they're masters of selective reading or a mixture of the three.

sort off.. if u have a look at most of them its a rust bucket on the outside apart from the wheels are very distinctive and unique, the nakerd look is done purposely and not weathered to look like that, rat look is very individual, say for example, that rusty astravan, rusty bonnet with a bonnet bra, thats the ironic thing behind it.. no so much sleepers i wouldnt say... just distinctive things on the car ud spot and think' ohyeah' if done right, but if you look at a poor example ud think, wtf is that peice of heap..

Are you trying to create a 'rat' if so you will fail, search the net, 99% of rats will be VAG cars, Creating a rat renault would be more ironic than the pic you posted as most of them leave the factory looking sh**

If you're not trying to create a rat than WHY are you doing it?

To me it just smacks of need, weve already had an identical thread all thats changed is the location surrounding the car, and apparently were all numpties because we couldnt see the sign (outwith the pic) saying the garage was closed.

So weve established you dont care what people think.

I liked the picture, thought others might too. But I was wrong for the most part.

I wasn't trying to create a rat car. I did it mostly as an 'up yours' to the scrotes who had keyed the thing on a monthly basis.

If I was trying to create a 'rat' I'd have done a much better job of it, and if it gets through the MOT I might do that.

So wind your neck back in please.

Identical thread (PMSL) -- People on here post a new thread with pictures everytime they check the oil mate!!! Im guessing hes posting pics because he wants to, and he hopes to achieve a thread on cs worth reading, and IMO the different views of people in this thread are worth reading .

You should rust the whole bonnet and then the roof and bootlid, matt paint the other bits, have va va voom stickers all over it, and mega wide banded steels!

Will look great i reckon, even though i dnt understand the "rat" scene.

My neck wasnt out pal, just asking a few obvious questions, i could have went the whole hog like everyone else and said i hated it rather than take the time to ask why you have done it.
