oil breather hose

Hi please can someone tell me which part number the oil breather hose on a phase 2 172 is? It's the small pipe that leads from the plastic intake hose to the back of the engine.

Thanks mate although that's the part number for the intake hose. I want the part number for the small rubber oil breather hose that leads to it.

Yeah the intake hose comes with the oil breather hose and both jubilee clips.

I'll measure the ID/OD and length of the pipe when I get home later. Pretty sure any breather pipe will do as long as its the right ID.

14 or 16mm ID rings a bell to answer your original question.
Get a half meter length of it on eBay and cut to suit.

Will it not have to be a certain type of “oil resistant” hose? I’ve heard before that generic silicon hose has eventually caved/given up through heat and oil having an effect on it

I’ve silicone hoses on my 106, have done for the last 4 years and haven’t noticed them degrading at all. I’ll have to pop it off later and have a check.

Mine looks to have melted along the side, possibly due to heat from the inlet mani

It's 16mm ID like @Simon998 said. This hose will be ok . Only £5.13 delivered for 1 metre . It's only a breather hose . Or put up an ad in the Wanted section .
