The oil is due to a leaky rocker box gasket, hence the oil around the plugs, as to plug socket size its a 16 mm deep socket.

:)

I dont think its very hard to do mate , all u gotta do is undo all the bolts take the rocker cover off remove old gasket and clean the area up,fit the new gasket and put the cover back on.

Went to Halfords today to get a rocker cover gasket only to be told they dont have them in stock!! Will have to try renault on monday!!

you could allways try makin yer own.....outta sticky back plastic, paper mache, empty yoghurt pots....................look heres one i made eairler

How easy is it to change the rockercover gasket?
10 min job, just undo the bolts holding the rocker cover on, clean up both surfaces and do up again, Might be worth checking torque settings for the cover tho.

This is often due to a slight spillage on top up or oil change as the oil has nowhere to go but down to the channel your plugs are sitting in it may not be your rocker cover gasket try and dry the oil up with kitchen roll and keep an eye on it before changing the gasket.
