Oil cap cover

I know this is a common fault, but my oil cap cover won't stay on. By the looks of it the top clip on the removable cover is broken? It's just a wire sticking out, hardly the most sturdy of attachments.

How do people fix the problem? Bit of blu-tac? Lol!

Epoxy resin will stick it . It's a bad design , you have to pull it hard to get the cover off then you run the risk of the metal clip breaking off .

Take the whole engine cover off for an oil change . Thats what i always do when it goes into the dealers
