Oil Filter Question

This may be a dumb question but are the oil filters in the Clio 182 small? I have just received a new one and it is not very deep, I would of thought that an engine like this would need something a little bigger. The part number I have for it is R82 00 768 913.

Another question, is it worth running some engine flush through before I change the oil as it does look a little black and I am not sure when the last change was done. I am going to replace the oil with Shell Helix 5/40.

That part number is correct mate and that's the right grade of oil for your Clio don't bother with the flush just get the oil red hot take it for a good thrashing then drain the oil
