Oil Grade?

I have a L plate valver and am wondering what the best grade of oil to use would be?

At the moment i have 10w 40 but not 100% sure if that's best grade to be using.

Any input appreciated.

you should try the 10w 50, it will satisfy you more, but it is much expensive!

10 40 is the best 5-40 can burn and leak a bit more bit it proctects the engine better from cold 0-40 is better.
DOn't go any higher than 40 spec realy 50 for fast road use if the oil gets very hot and track days.

I use 10w 50 in mine which is fully synthetic oil.
The can in my opinion runs 10 times better with it!
Think for a 5 litre can your looking around £30
