oil in plenum

cal

Car  ph2 172
Ive just took my throttle body off for a clean and noticed quite a bit oil in plenum chamber is this normal?

cheers

it's because of the tube connected to the induction elbow, the oil breather. Because of this you will always have oil-guck in the TB

no worries. just cleaning.

Is this amount normal to see or due to having the oil topped up the max? I just changed the oil and put a full 5 litres in and its 1-2mm above the max line on the dipstick. Do I need to get rid of the extra?
