oil leak RT

i have a major problem. iv had this oil leak for sum time now.it seems to by running down the sump so it aint the sump nut.

has anyone else had a oil leak on there rt ? do u know what it could possible be? Garage said it could be my crank seals but they werent shore becuase they only had a quick look.

most probably the rocker cover m8 look under the hood and check around the edge!

gasket cost bout £3 and u jus take out 8 bolts swap em over and done!

it aint the rocker cover becuase i changed that recently. could it be leaking from the fuel filter if it aint on tight enough?your seem to answer all my questions. thanks.lol

the fuel filter is in line with the rear seats so it wont be that!

u sure its oil?

check the plugs, head, rocker (again), the edge of the sump

wot can i say im the wizard or RTs! lol

sorry mate i meant the oil filter!!got a bit confused.could it be this?

yep!

get an oil change if u aint had one recently, new oil , filter and sump plug and u could also ask the mechanic to check for leaks

thats the thing mate, i changed the oil and the oil filter 2 weeks ago and it was leaking before i changed the oil and its still doing it. but now the oil aint black like before its the golden colour so i reckon its leaking from the oil filter.cant be sure.have to get some1 to check it out.thanks anyway m8, and tel that rob fenn lad to stop being a tw*t.

whats the likelyhood of it being the sump gasket?how hard are these to change?
