oil leak under car on sump

i dont think its comming from the sump plug as its dripping down the whole sump from the engine bay.what could it be?anyone ever had this porblem on a rt? could it be sump gasket?

ive got a bit of a olileak there but i dont think that it´s anything to worry about... my leak is small....

yeah my RT leaks quite alot 2.

i think mine might b leakin from the head gasket

hope no like!! but its fine as long as u check oil every so often.

why are 1.4 energy engine so leaky?????

most oil leaks on 1.4 energy engines are from the headgasket.

Is it just me being thick, but isnt it really easy to replace the head gasket?

i had a 1.4rt engine and i had the same leak, put it down to the sump gasket, when i took my engine out thats the only place it was leaking from not the headgasket. but get a gasket set and change the rocker gasket and sump gasket, that will solve it im 99% sure

headgaskets are easy enough to change and you can change the rocker cover gasket while your there.
