J JD Feb 15, 2011 #2 And all purpose cleaner and degreaser is likely to be your best bet. But you need to find a small area on the belt to try it for colour fast...ness. The best bet is to open the car door and pull the seat belt out, allowing access for it to be rinsed and dried more easily.
