Oil pressure gauge

Had the engine on my valver replaced with a 129 16v engine in december and since then the oil pressure gauge hasnt been working. All the other dash gauges are working, temperature and oil level, but that ones just wont work. Any one know what it could be, is it just a wire thats not been plugged inor something. Thanks!

Could be a buggered sender or as you say cable not plugged in.

The sender is on teh back of the block above the oil pump....check the connection, then the sender itself.
