Oil Pressure

Hi,

I want to know the oil temperature and the oil pressure in my 172 mk1. Has somebody a picture of where to insert a sensor for the oil pressure (They are quite large)? Is it a good idea to put a plate between the oilfilter and the engine block (I hope you understand what I'm trying to say...)?

Ive only ever seen them with the plates.....

Cant help with readings though, as i dont ahve one

I had a Gauge setup in my Ph2 172FF, only problem i had was the t piece for my gauge senders to screw into was leaking where the senders screwed into the t pieces female threads

But i can imagine there will not be much difference in the setup on a Ph1 172.
