Oil - Track Day - Valver

I'm doing a service on the car before Feb's track day.

Suggestions as to what oil to put in it please? Is the standard Renault Excellium stuff good enough?

Thanks.

I would reckon so - when I changed my old oil for the excellium I noticed at least a 10degree drop in oil temperature on a long high speed run and it ran a lot smoother, so I reckon that it would be fine for track work. :)

Plus, it's not that expensive so you can always change it again afterwards it you wanted to! lol

its also my reccomendation to change it AFTER.........oil gets seriously abused on track....and if your good, you can kill it.

Who wants to drive the next 3000 miles on butter?

Me!

That'd be amusing!

Interestingly Simon, I've literally just joined up to your website and awaiting members area details.

I've used Silk Pro S before so I'll probably use that again, but "recommend" me one anyway as I've requested ;)
