Oil treatment for tappets?

Car  Massey6465 & saxo1.1
Is there some sort of additive you can add to oil which you would use to help bed in a new set of cams or to quieten down noisey tappets? I think ive heard it mentioned before.
If so where do I get it from?

Forte advanced motor flush and Forte top end treatment. Best stuff you can buy, available from ebay or local garages as its trade only.

Forte Top End Treatment, GDI keep it in i think

personally i wouldnt use the flush

available on the site.

we flush the engine to clean it out with the fotre engine cleaner

then use new oil and the top end treatment...

works really well.

Quick question, but could I use the Top End Treatment even though my tappets are manual and not Hydraulic. Would I still see some benefits, i.e. Quieter operation?

Thanks. :)

Cheap, and from what i hear best soloution, change oil to mineral oil, run fi a few hundred miels and change back to fully synth, sorts the problems right out.

Tucks you really ought to get over to williamsclio where you get proper advice ;)

that from GDI?

They were fast sending my bulbs too :)

Bit quicker than the delivery of your cams/pulleys Tucks!
