Old tyres on new rims?

This may sound like a silly question but is it easy for a garage to fit your old tyres to new rims. Just I have seen the force and the way they take the old tyres off and throw them! lol Have never come across this before with my cars....

just I am after a new set of wheels the same size I have already and dont see the point in buying new tyres as they are all on 7mm

Yes they will be able to fit them tyres on new wheels. It shouldn't be a problem for any tyre fitting garage.

Its easy to transfer tyres across from one car to another. As for price...it depends on the place. Some places wont do it full stop. Others charge (around here) £10+ per wheel to do it. Phone around and ask...as we wont know your local garages and what they will suggest.

I have tyres moved from one set of wheels to another all the time (once a month probably on average, have done about 4 sets this month though as we're in the process of swapping all our dries over to OZ f1s and wets onto pro race), never had any issues at all.

Don't know if they'll swap tyres over for you but I'd ask. Fella does all my tyres for me, good service.

Any "decent" ones anyway should. I know Kwik fit wont fit tyres unless you bought them there, and some places charge a fortune to swap them like HiQ.
