Omex water temp sensor

When fitting an omex ecu do both your standard & omex ecu need a water temp sensor? If the do do you just drill & tap the m12x1.5 hole into the housing or do I need to weld a boss on first?

There's a spot to drill it into so both the dash and the ecu still get a signal. Best to call them as thy used to have a picture available of where it went

Can I take the gauge wire and link it in the the Omex loom for it to send the same signal ?

Piggy back it into the stock sensor and calibrate the sensor using clip

You mean tell it it's a CTN not a CTP or visa versa ?

No, cross reference. So you can calibrate the ones accurately
