Hiya Everyone, The girlfriend and I went to the lake district for 5 days and it was amazing, The roads were fantastic and the views were awesome!!

We took 1650 photos and drove 861 miles. Here are some/loads of photos lol

Not slow are they! Even though it has the same bits, it looks so much better than the 1.2, no idea why, good work mate....
 
Wish I hadn't been working yesterday!! I would have loved to have gone across to the lakes!! Lovely drive from here over to Keswick, via Alston and over Hartside.

Fab pics car looks ace!!
 
when ever i go to the lakes all i do is drive round fopr a bit until i find a road that looks like it goes know where. OMG i have found some roads, Then i put the sat nav on and realise i have driven alot furthe than i thought and im now in the middle of nowhere :D

shame you didnt go to bassenthwaite lake, got a static caravan next to it :)

We did, but just picked a few picture out of the 1650 didnt think CS would of liked that many. We stayed just at the bottom of Bassenthwaite lake.

I'll dig a picture out.

Love that sunset shot, thats mag worthy!!! I recognise some of the shots from ambleside.
 
Im off to the Lakes in 3 weeks. No time for taking in the views though, I'll be against the clock competing in the National Three Peaks Challenge. Wish I could take the car tbh...
 
you were just round the corner from my lakes house at ullswater mate, its so nice up there, regardless of the weather!! there are some fantastic roads to be driven as well, especially at night!!

Never been to the lakes myself, looking at those- I may need to take a trip :D
