That is blooming lovely mate but cant help think that a set of original alloys would just finish it off nicely ;)

I still have 5 original RS alloys sitting in the shed but IMHO think the standard wheels are too small

Could've cleaned it before taking pics.

I know. Its a bloody mess :rasp:

There was a set of 4 17" RS 7 Spoke Softlines on ebay last week that sold for £1200.

Im happy to say i have 6 of these so like the car this stuff is only going up in price.

mental how a set of dog legs you could get for like 50 quid to chuck on your van. now rare as frig and worth lots of beans.

one of the reasons i bought my e36 after seeing how much e30s tend to fetch. like a car's own price lifecycle!

f**king stunning mate! Will always be a Ford nut at heart. My old man had a 2.0 escort in this shape and it was a great car!

Can there be a nicer conditioned one of these, looks brand new. How long have you owned it, was it a family car etc?

Had it for 5/6 years now and its kept in the shed in the bubble.
Don't use it that much at all and it was an RS enthusiasts who owned it before me.

Incredible, how often do you drive it?

In almost 2 years i think its been about 17miles its been driven.

In a way that makes me very sad. Although I can understand the financial reasons behind keeping it unused.

Simply awesome!! It has to be one of the mintest ones out there

I'd love to own this car!! :approve:

A real credit to you. Are car coons temperature and humidity controlled?

How much is that old heap worth? :p

How much is it worth or insured for ;)

Id say a good 9k

Things are only as much as people are willing to pay ;)

Looks great, shame you don't drive it much though.

It will be taxed and driven this year as .GAZ. thinks he is getting to drive it, Might let him look at it from a distance

I tried to go back to the RS fold. Obviously, I bought one with a few issues, but on driving it, I just couldn't get it out of my head what old junk they are now. Granted, they are a true collectors items, and there is that "connected to the road" feeling....

but it didn't feel safe to drive fast/hard, and that's what they were made for.

I love the following RS's have, and plan on attending a ford show of some sort this year to keep the love alive.......... but never again for me

Lovely mate, absolutely stunning! Im a big RS fan myself, first car was a white Fiesta RS turbo and still to this day say it was the best car to drive that ive owned.

Just out of interest though, what do you do with regards to maintaining it? do you go and start it up every week or so, on axel stands etc?

Im down all the time at it messing about and playing about.
The Trophy is sitting next to it just now with the bumper off and wheels off so I'm down at the car twice a week.

The RS Turbo gets serviced once in the summer and once in the winter (Full service and Fluids)
It does also get turned over and it has a battery conditioner on it which comes part of the carcoon.

I have just left it on the wheels and tyres this year as at some point I will be buying 4 new tyre for the car as 2 of them only have a few mm left
