One of my front speakers is crakling

I reckon I have blown one of my front door speakers.

They are already aftermarket pionears.

I would like to replace them now. Any sugestions for around £60 I know this isnt much!!

I have been informed in a previous post that 13cm is the size would 10cm speakers fit just i was thinking these! They are cheep!!

RRP £109 and cheepest else where is £50

I had Pioneer's in my old car and had the same problem, all I did was to fade the speaker out or just bin them as they are s**t IMO and get some better quality one or comp.

Any suggestions can't afford comps. Can strech to mibby £80 ??

another few questions :-

When fitting the components do i simply replace the door speakers with the mid range speaker and the dash tweeters with the tweeters

or

do i have to run cables?

is this hard?

You have to install x-over and use original cables in car. iirc

ok I might being silly here but does the X over install behind the stero on the original cables?

Installation is very simple just follow intructions that are supplied with speakers.

X-over's got to have a speaker output from radio to input then it split's the signal into, mid range and tweeter.
