One of the best pads...?

  Monaro VXR/Cupra TDi
Dixcel Carbon Type Z.

Anyone know or heard of these? Apparently they're rather good.:)

Anybody using them?

lol why dont you like the CL's fred?

they don't last, when i tested out CL's years ago they lasted 3hours and were dead (granted the abuse they got was 100 times worse than anything a cliosporter would give them)

PF is the only pad that didn't fail my testing!

interesting

i cant comment either way yet, but i am willing to try numerous pads until i find the right one for me

i think thats something people tend not to think about when buying brakes/tyres/suspension, its very difficult to say what is the best product, one persons good will be not so good to another with a totally different driving style. i think people should just try stuff for themselves rather than asking whats the 'best', not a dig at anyone, but there is no 100% right answer.

I would have thought that the PF97s are a bit extreme for daily use, unless you drive everywhere like you stole it lol

I've not driven on them though so am only going off what other people have said :)

Personally I'd recommend the Pagid Blues - very happy with mine :)

Bites as good as standard from cold, never fades, has a nice consistent 'feel' so gives you confidence
