Only been waiting over 2 months!!!!

Right got a call from Renault today. The interior trim that they damaged at the beginning of November has finally arrived.

Taking it in on Saturday so they can fit it and get a lovely 1.2 courtesy car with £1000 excess! lovely

BUT they did tell me that because I have a more unusual car (a MK2 172....well rare then ) The parts being manufactured are slightly different so they need to check that one of the parts is going to fit.

I mean how many differences can there be from the parts produced for a 53 plate 172 to say a 54 plate 182!!!!!!! I am quite shocked at their crapness!

what did they break? i had to wait 3 weeks for the silver bit of trim above the glove box when they damaged that

Theres very little different between the 182 interior and the 172, can only think of the backing to the leather and the dash strips.

They did tell me that they had to order the part from France and had no way of telling when it would arrive and coz it was ordered via computer could not chase the parts either. Just so happened they arrived today.

Its only the hand brake gaiter trim and the panel where the seatbelt slides into they need to replace. Replaced the steering wheel, door handle and kick trim.

Still cant believe they damaged five separate parts taking the seat out!!!

Ah, the gear knob lifter is a different colour too! lol
