open door light

hi, i drive a mk1 1998 clio 1.2,

the roof light no longer comes on when i open the doors or unlock the car, it just stopped working. the light still comes on when i flick the switch so its not the bulb.

any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks, david

yeah, is it possible its a fuse?

No, there is only one fuse as far as I know. I'd take the light down and check for any loose connections up there.
