Opinions - Black wheels

  Elise/VX220/R26

"yes love I promise if we get a 172 I wont do anything to it, its lovely and Im sure I wont feel the need to modify it at all!"

Well that was about 2 months ago and the Ice installs half done, Im saving for nitrous and toying with the idea of changing the wheels :)

Bearing in mind my cars black Im thinking of going for black or dark grey wheels. Im after a bit more of a hardcore dirty racer look for the car and I think black wheels might do that in a stealth sort of way. Think of something like a team dynamics motorsport

black wheels on a black car just dont look right

you need a differewnt colour to break up the black

I dont like black wheels on any car really, they just dont look right.

Also, theys a lad near me whos got a black toyota with black wheels - it looks pants!

like the ones in the picture, but theyre not black:confused:

must say though - black wheels on a black car just dont look right. agree with bambam - you need something to break the car up.

Agree with most of the preceding posts - black can be a bit much. There are some nice grey / anthracite shades about though, thinking of some for my (red) 172.

Black wheels loog good on some colour cars ( punto GT at uni looks good)

But on a black car I have to agree that it doesnt look very good.
