so i was right to doubt then. i have my badges in silver at the minute which looks good but getting the guy who said he would colour code the rest is proving difficult

If the painter is any good he shouldn't have any much probs getting the colour correct, i mean im an amateur and i did it.
But to your question silver would look wrong(imo) and colour coded is the best look.

no its not getting the colour thats the trouble its getting him to come round. hes a mate of my dads and said he would do them like 3 months ago

getting all bump strips (side and ones on bumpers) makes your colour car look fantastic, i'd definitely recommend that

it's even possible to do it yourself, just do a search for a guide on here :)

yer iv looked at it and thought about doing it myself but i dont wanna c**k it up and waste my money lol

i know a lad who has a naughty blue clio and he has bump strips silver and front and rear bumper pieces silver

you wont belive how gash it is!!!

it's a job you can do yourself so i dont see why anyone would want to pay £100+ for it

when spraying full bumpers etc that costs about £80 a time and doing just strips is a much easier job

oh rite ok, well i wouldnt try and do it myself thats for sure. I know front bumpers, spoilers etc can be pricey but didnt know about the strips.

you could follow a guide on here but use a spare strip from a scrappies or something, should only be a couple of quid and you can use that to practice

if you leave all the coats to dry etc. and have the patience to do it then it's well worth it

best bet is to get the all ready colour coded 1s and match them to your car.

As the normal black 1s have a g*y surface to spray on that you have to rub down realy well(or the paint just flakes/cracks after a few months)
