opinions on colour

i've got some spare door handles for my 172, as the silver ones are made out of jelly and have scratched.

the question is, what colour should i spray the new ones?

Either the same silver, anthracite, or a dark blue like the dash and seats?

any other ideas?

Ended up getting mine doen as close as a colour match to the handles/speaker trim. Looks quite nice

I'd do it the same colour as the lower dash. Grey colour.

Are these silver handles all kack ? The ones in my sons car look like they have been sprayed with foam rubber and they have soaked up the dye from the trim and turned red at the edges....really nasty. Is this unusual ?

thats normal. Its a kind of rubberised laquer that renault used which just scratches off and gets all sticky/messy.

They're not cheap to buy either, except mine which cost £3
