Opinions on this scratch please

Well Ok its a little more than a scratch. Misjudged getting onto a drive and the rear arch caught the corner of the front wall.

As you can see, its scratched down to the metal, but thankfully it is not bent or dented.

So question time:
1) how much is this likely to cost in the long run to get resprayed?
2) in the meantime, I do not want it to rust so thinking of a touch up job to preserve the arch. I hear halfrauds do touch up sets with primer and colour pen - any other options?

best case scenario to get resprayed is £100 per panel and no car for a few days..
bang some touch up paint on it to protect it if you're not gonna get it sprayed for a few weeks just to be safe

Yep going to pick up a touch up paint kit tomorrow

Really annoyed with myself though for that momentary lack of concentration - spent lots on my car recently - painted the 16V bullets in silver, new blue tint lights, clear side repeaters, new speakers, floor mats etc - last thing I need is £100 or so unnecessary spend on sorting this when I'm pretty skint from the afformentioned!!! :dapprove:

Yeah...me too. I was quoted around £300 for my rear panel.

It won't need the whole panel respraying but expect the cost to be about a ton.....

I take it for a decent job the whole side panel will need to be done? Even though its only around the wheel arch?

Lol you beat me to it - cheers for that. £100 is not too bad, £300 a bit much, anywhere in between I guess I'd have to live with

They'll just blend that rather than whole panel as whole panel is harder to colour match.

I paid £155 to have a dent knocked out of my bonnet and the bonnet resprayed, that also included the spoiler being colour coded on the back
