Opinions please

Just looking for peoples views here, Basically I have an 04 clio 182 and a few weeks ago some girl drove into the back of it. I will be getting it back soon but would prefer to get rid of it now ASAP. Does anyone have any idea how much less my car is worth after being driven into? The damage was straight rear end damage with slight damage the boot floor. It was taken to Renault for a full £5.5k repair so everything will be A1 when I get it back. Thanks Damski

ask you're insurance company if it is declared as CAT D or anything like that

if its not, then value is unaffected IMO

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a write off as the insurance assesed the cars value at £9k and would only write it off if I took £7k for it which I felt was a bit of a kick in the nads. The assesor will be back off his hols tomorrow and is due to call me so I will double check with him to see if it has been catergorised. Thanks
