Hey all,

ok, after a couple of posts on here, I have managed to get myself sorted with some tunes

Alpine V12 amp 4 chan, Infinity Kappa 4" with JBL tweeters, Infinity 10" sub and box all with a new amp wiring kit for £100.

I have also just bought a Alpine CDM 9823RR new for £134.99, the interface for the Clio hand controls and display stung a bit at £74 tho. I know that I didnt have to get them, but.......

Not bad set up for round £300?

Sounds like a bargain. You only changing the front spkrs?

yip, just the fronts.

This is the same kind of set up I had in my XR2 - good set of fronts and wee bit of bass through the boot. Amp running both. Clio is a small car and I think there is not a great need for running backs.

when i started in the ice business back in 95, infinity speakers were really un reliable. id own their tweeters but not their mids. i find they need alot of power or they would blow from not enough.. things may have changed since then though

they are going to have a V12 up their ass!

I had a set of green cone Kappas and the tweeters went tits up after about 3 years.

TBH I am just fitting it all for a better over all sound as the Reno system is pants...
