Cleaned your car and left it in the same place for two weeks with out using it....

Well i did, and when i went to use it, it took 4000rpm at the biteing point the move!! Then when i finnaly got going the brakes didnt work, once the surface rust went it took 20 miles for the fronts to sort themselves out, thud thud thud thud thud when ever i pressed on the pedal

What u get for leaving the car in the rain for two weeks i suppose

yep, my car is the same at the moment, it is getting washed regularly, but isnt getting used much, has become just a weekend car at the moment, so its judging the rpm to get off the discs without covering the next door neighbours house in gravel lol!!

When ever I wash my car I dry and polish it off etc but then before applying wet look tyre spray and the like I just gently drive to the bottom of my road and back whilst holding the brake pedal a bit.

That way the disks are clean and I can brush the orange dust off the wheels before applying the wetlook spray. It also causes water to come out of the seams on the body work etc so I can chamois that off rather than it leaving water marks when I take the car out for the first time.

Ive noticed the brake discs actually go rusty whilst in the process of washing it!

Little flecks of orange start to appear by the time ive waxed it.

Happens every time I leave mine at the airport. Come back 2 weeks later and the pads are siezed solid to the discs. Same for all cars I guess.

I havent noticed that particular problem but i have noticed that if I leave my handbrake on and dont drive it for a few days it sticks. I rev a bit harder and then it unsticks and doesnt cause any more problems.

I had the same with my PugGti and after a three week ban, I couldnt get it to reverse off the driveway....

Then BANG! The next thing you know, I was in someone elses drive!

Ive kept the car in gear ever since.
