Anybody used this?

Just ordered some to try on the Inferno. Will follow up with thoughts after I've detailed the car again.

i've seen orange crush used on a silver 172 and looked imense.

And am i right in thinking it not meant for silver?

The colour-charging as Dodo put it is very slight, so even though Orange Crush was designed for warm colours like yellow, orange, reds & gold it should work okay on other colours too. Think of it as more of a guide not a hard fast rule.

The guy from Dodo replied on a thread when I asked about it on DW, he said the colour changed nature does very little.

If a guy from Dodo said that then it kind of confirmed what I had thought, the product range is needlessly extended, and is potentially confusing to custmers. The same thing could be said of Chemical Guys, they have loads of similar products - and whilst very good, it is better to have fewer products but make the benefits of each cheaper. Less production and storage costs for the suppliers too.

can anyone comment on if the orange crush Dood Juice will be better than chem guys 50/50 on Inferno?

I've not used 50/50 myself.

But Rich said on another thread that both the Dodo Juice waxes he tried did have the edge on the 50/50.

As Matt says, the Purple Haze produced a better gloss and Depth on Black for me vs 50/50 in some direct testing. Would be interested to see if the Orange Crush does the same reds and oranges as I am getting some for a mate.

He said they make a slight difference. Worth looking on DW for a post in the waxes section I started called Artifical colours in Dodo or something!

Fubar/Rich,

I'll do a full 50/50 with it once I receive it and get a nice enough day to PC and detail. Won't be for a week though as not at home next week.

My eye's simply arn't good enough to notice the difference between, ONYX, Purple Haze and 50:50...But i prefer the ONYX for smell! ;)
