Orange pouder on one of my spark plug cap

Any idea what would cause this and if it'd problematic?

Rusty water. Plugs probably rusty too

Looks like it was relatively new. Presume colouring is legacy.

Clean it up and itll probably be fine

I changed them Saturday so yeah they're new . Thank you. Any tips on how to tighten spark plugs without a torque wrench by the way?

Check window washer jets/hoses not leaking.

I put some rover mist ones recently and they spray way too low, could be linked maybe

Or the seal round the jets, either way water shouldnt be dropping onto the top of the engine.

Why are you showing me new spark plugs?

Was the spark plug hole filled with water when you fitted them?
Was the rust colouring there before?

And just nip them by hand. You'll feel the washer crush

Cause I'm an idiot

Didn't see any water. I just saw a bit of orange powder on the 3rd cap but less than now on the fist picture.

I'm also an idiot because I didn't mention why I'm in there when I changed them Saturday. I definitely didn't tighten them hard enough and I heard a ticking noise at idle. So I wanted to tighten them more and found the 3rd cap fully covered in orange pouder
