Oreca question

My mate got a used Oreca gr. A - 63mm exhaust system but instead of the decat pipe there is the original ph1 twin-barrel cat (1 lambda)
is this cat also good or must he get a decat pipe? i think that in the past fred said this is the best cat.

If you want a Decat then got one but if not then stick with the cat you have.

From what I hear no but I have just fitted one and will be able to tell shortly. The Decat makes it very noisy but it depends on what you want.

it's a gr. a exhaust so it is very loud and pops now with this cat...so i think it would be similar with the decat.
