Recently purchased an Origin B2 from Has 16v which arrived on Friday as promised. Was nicely packaged and sent Special Delivery insured for £500.
1st impressions with the kit were;
nicely built and put together
lots of useable features
straightforward to install (with the cable management system)
Having now installed it I think the following;
like everyone else... the f***ing rattle irritates the hell out of me!!! I think its the magnets which I know can be cured with a spot of Blu-Tac but why dont they sort it before they leave the factory?
Cable management? What a waste of time. You get a nice long lead on the antenna and the laser module so that it can all be connected, according to the manual "out of the way under one of the front seats". The cradle itself though, which culminates in the colour-coded plugs, has a ludicrously short lead. Ive mounted the unit above the right-hand side drivers air vent and there wasnt enough cable, even from there, to reach under the drivers seat. I ended up cable-tying it all together and tucking it up under the dash beneath the steering wheel.
Ive got voice settings and volume on but have yet to hear it. Does it go off for every warning?
Its been 100% reliable for the few cameras I encounter regularly so far.
Overall well pleased. Bargain price courtesy of Has 16v (thanks fella) and a nicely featured, well built unit.
I wouldnt hesitate in buying another if the need arose.
