Original navi dashboard parts

I want to have a lcd-touchscreen in the car (to connect to a carPC), but I don't want it to look aftermarket (i.e. some screen on top of your dashboard or sliding out of the headunit).

So I thought; is it possible to retrofit the dashboardpart(s) of the original navi system the Clio optional came with (part.nr's would be nice too)? And does someone know the size of the original screen so i can look for the right replacement touchscreen?

yes, you can. It's been done several times and is bloody expensive to do properly.

Mike@rentech has done it. Finding the top dash bit second hand is a bit of a mission, you could always buy it new, but it will probably cost a fair bit.

thats not too bad a price.i was quoted £122 for a rear middle seatbelt and it wont even get used!

Thnx for the info, I'll do some searching. Not cheap then (€225 in euroland), but I think it's worth it..
