Original Stereo & Speakers

Hi everyone i'm new to the forum, and will be buying a 02/03 clio very soon (have the cash, just wating for the right one), anyways was just wondering what the quality of the original stereo and speakers pump out as i'm not gonna have much if any cash left after i've splashed out for the motor, but if i did have any cash is there any aftermarket head units that will allow them to work with the clios display aswell ? You can buy adapters to allow them to fit.
