You got any pics of said beast? Ive never seen one before, or heard of it for that matter!

fine, If youre going to be like that then youve help me make up my mind. Ill get an MR2 turbo. Theyre alot faster and better built than a clio anyway. Also the interior wasnt put together by drunk monkeys.

So sorry..........

decide whether you want all the toys or not. Check for stone chips, this is a tell tale sign of ranted ness. Check the alloys for chings...........

Anyone else goin to help this nice chap???????????

I just fell in love with mine and bought it, well the mrs pointed it out...........

If that is your opinion of the clio how did you ever consider a 182?

My brother used to have clio williams2 and it handled like it was on rails. The only thing was the interior fell to bits. Thought a 182 might be a modern equivalant. Are they better build quality now?

What a childish post from start to finish.....

I never understand people who come on here, ask for our opinion and then get pissed off and trash talk about a car they 5 minutes ago was potentially looking to buy.......... please.... keep these posts coming it makes me feel so good.

On another note which MR2 are you refering to ....certainly all the MR 2s ive had, driven or raced have been alot slower than my 182...

Are you refering to some "kevv up" jap import?

I had a few rattles in the 172 and have pretty much the same ones on the 182, other than that Ive had no issues with either.

You wont find a car which offers the same level of performance or specification for the price.

Thanks Lee m . Im test driving one this Sat morning. If I like it then ill go for it. As far as the MR2 question, well the other option was a late import mr2 turbo. The only problem is that its an import so you cant be sure of the history. Although 220 bhp in a car that size sounds a bit mad!

Err yeah right.

Back to topic, Onion RS Cosworth, dont mean to sound negative but without an original log book with details as to such a model then you wont be belived?

Are you saying that its a mk5 based Onion like the Escos? In which case the engine is longditudinal and is a 4x4 car? The car in the pic looks remarkably like a mk4 based Onion in which case its a transverse engine and will be FWD. A 227 BHP 2.0 16v Cossie engine in that would be silly and no manafactuer no matter how un-balanced they are would build it.

Also, MR2 Turbo, makes alot of sense, cheap and fcuking fast cars. Do not listen to people that think hot hatchs are faster.

/\ If that came accross rude I apologise, I got inquizitive and when I read it again it came accross all wrong.

My spelling today is also appalling.

Drove a mates MR2 GTI-16 and surprised how nippy that was. Interesting round roundabouts (was raining at the time!).

  300bhp MR2 Turbo

3rd gear on standard boost mine bit me the other day. Just momentarily forgot I was in the tubby and not the 16v and kept my foot on fun pedal while on a roundabout.

Back screached out, had to spin the wheel a bit and some how got it back.

Ease off the throttle on bends then hammer it out and its a tame beast. Hammer it in to the bends and your likely to see the back end infront of you.

Im assuming you meant a UK GTI? thats the 173 bhp n/a engine IIRC.

My turbo came with a fully stamped Toyota service history. Anoyingly in Japanese but its all been done.
