Updated my iMac last night, took a bit longer to download the my laptop but I did that later in the evening so was only 10 minutes to download.
Haven't tested the new OS fully but not sure I'm sold on the Fisher Price icons!
I had the same this morning.Had a bug this morning where I answered a call on my iPhone but the laptop continued to ring the whole time (wasn't showing the call as answered). Very annoying!
my macbook pro is a late 2011 so isn't compatible with all this shizzle
Facetime > PreferencesI had the same this morning.
Need to find where to turn it off now, as it's not a feature I'll be using.
Mine did something similar, I restarted my Mac and started the the download again, it then did it in about 30 minutesWhy is mine taking so long to download? Never taken me more than an hour to download previous OSX updates. It's around the 10 hour mark!
Yeah, I paused and restarted the download a few times, did the trick. Took 20 mins.Mine did something similar, I restarted my Mac and started the the download again, it then did it in about 30 minutes
Since installing Yosemite, I've started having a minor bug; whenever I detach my monitor from my MacBook, it makes all the MacBook screen slightly blurry in Chrome, until I close Chrome and open it again, all the text is off.
That's disappointing to hear, I've used Chrome for years now.Don't use Chrome, it's not 64bit and eats battery
Did you upgrade to version 10?Anyone having issues with Parallels? Doesn't work at all for me since the update.
I've got no updates showing for it. I'll look laterDid you upgrade to version 10?
You have to pay for version 10
Apparently version 9 doesn't work with Yosemite. Sounds like a licence to print money IMO.
Nope lol!It there only me thats a complete pauper and heads to the torrents?
Yeah that a bit s**t, if i'd have paid for it in the first place it would have annoyed me 😂Nope lol!
I'm just annoyed I'll have to, although this is a license that was not from a torrent. I got it from an apple employee, they got free license codes for certain things.
Anyone else experiencing slow startup now? My late 2009 MacBook seems to be taking an age to boot since I upgraded!
Quite tempted to get an SSD, just upgraded the RAM to 8GB.Yep, I went and bought an SSD and installed a fresh. Late 2011 mine is.
It's made a massive difference as well, 12 seconds to boot.Quite tempted to get an SSD, just upgraded the RAM to 8GB.
