can't comment on the philips

but the osram ones do give out a nice light but they don't last that long as a trade off

philips extreme power H4 got em in the zetec s massive improvement on std bulbs for light output .not as white as pholips bluevision tho .

Ive got Osram night breakers in at the moment, One of my ebay special white bulbs blew so these went back in (usually only run them in winter).

Definatly a great bulb, Visibility is fantastic, But they are very orange to me, Think it says on the box there 10% whiter than stock bulbs but only very slightly.

Might go for some phillips bluevision for the colour.

Nightbreakers- a lot brighter and whiter. I bought both for my 4WD (to compare them) and gave the Xtremes away because they were yellower and not as bright on high beam (H4 bulb.)

Just to bump this up, Need some white/blue tint bulbs now. I like the nightbreakers, They work well for me, but the ebay blues did well as well and looked a lot better..

Is there any blue or white bulbs on the market that are well known? Dont really want a HID kit at the mo.

Apparently phillips bluevision arent that blue or white, Had a search on some forums last night, Found some names like PIAA which look good but exspensive.. Any others?

they are alright if your behind the lights but f*cking annoying when your dazzled by them coming the opposite direction!!

I've never had anyone flash me with the nightbreakers fitted to my 4WD. I can certainly tell they're a lot brighter by comparing other vehicles lights when they're next to me though.

Ultra bulbs are very blue, I had a set when I had standard headlights, but the light they give off is w*nk, worse than standard.
