Outer CV Joint snap ring size help

Hi All,

Does anyone happen to know what size the snap ring is on a 182? Somehow I think I've butchered fitting a new CV joint and the driveshaft won't go into the joint far enough - want to get a new snap ring in case I've mullered it before this weekends CV joint grease bath.
