Outside TEMP gauge

My TEMP gauge under the clock which tells you the tempature outside has started playign up everyday and night now its reading 35c. Whats caused this to happen and how can it be fixed?

im currently at 49c lol mine started off being a bit high but has gone up more an more each week
the way to fix it is you see the nipple under the mirror on the passenger side
thats your sensor
so pick up a new sensor from a scrappy
take the mirror glass off with screw driver (prise it off) carefully obviously lol
then replace sensor jobs a gooden
not got round to it myself yet though

Ah myt have to do that soon then my drivers side nipple is missing so once got a new wing mirror ill do it. is there sensors on both sides that need replacing.

no theres only one on passenger side, the hole on drivers side is for left hand drive models to have there sensor there
