OZ F1's

Right this is probably a stupid question but i dont know the answer so ill take the laughter on the chin..

I bought i set of OZ F1s, Paisley freight being the unbelievable screw ups that they are some how managed to lose one. So i found someone near by that had a spare and bought that. Unbeknown to me it was a 6J wheel and the three that Paisley freight did manage to get to the destination were all 7J they have all got renault stamped in them though which ones are right?

The OEM Renault OZ 15" F1's are 7J.

the 14" f1s are 6j so would check you havent got a 14" one.

IT definitely 15" but its a 6J.. And still got renault stamped in it which is what kind of threw me..

Stamped? or just on the centre cap?

Strange, I've currently got two sets of original 15" Renault OZ's and also previously had another set which I sold and all 3 sets are/were 7J. There are 'aftermarket' OZ F1's which likely could come in 6J but then they obviously wouldn't say Renault on them!? Are you sure they haven't been shot-blasted and powder-coated a few times and may be you're misreading the 6/7? Have you actually measured them with a tape-measure?

Its got Renault Stamped in the back and also got 6Jx15.4 stamped in the back.. I checked for the Renault stamp when i bought the single one but didnt check the size being the muppet I am.

I must have best part of 40 Oz F1 wheels at the moment and I must say I havent noticed any being narrower when fitting tyres or repainting them etc.

You haven't said where you are? I have a spare one, needs refurbing but is straight, would need to be collected though, I'm in SW Essex/NE London.

It must be a copy is all i can think. Yeah im sure ill find one, Ive put up a wanted thread and people on this site tend to be pretty helpful so fingers crossed.

Yeah ive put them next to each other and they are totally different. I will put a picture up in a minute, definitely has Renault stamped in it and then 6J on the next spoke round. Im in Newport, you wouldnt be willing to ship it at all? At my expense obviously

I'm sure you'll find one, but if not mines just sitting on a shelf in the garage doing nothing. I wasn't planning on selling it and was/am just going to keep it as a spare but you seemed desperate.

I have just had the same thing happen to me.

Bought a set off here, all 7J. Turned out after a few weeks that one was buckled. Bought a replacement and fitted it without really checking it (fairly stupid of me!) as the guy I bought it from said it was standard Renault and I saw the Renault stamp. Was stinging the car yesterday and then realised there was an issue.

All are 15", all have the same offset and all have Renault stamped on them. But one is 6J and the other 3 are 7J.

So I am a little annoyed. Does anyone know what the 6J is from and does anyone want to sell me a 7J renault wheel or a set for a good price (all 7J!)?
