pads &discs

I have a phase 1 clio 172, are the discs and pads from a phase 2 the same?

Yes mate. All the 172/182s use same brake set up, with the only difference being the 172 Cup doesn't have abs.

would abs be a bit of a pain in the ass on the track? done a few track days in a stripped out 172 but didn't realise it was just the 182 that had abs. I now have a 182 that im starting to get ready for the track. Just thinking that if the abs kicked in everytime you get hard on the brakes for corners that would be a bit annoying?

Also going to be looking for a good brake set up soon, what would you recommend?
